    We are currently seeking an HR Coordinator who is passionate about helping people, is an excellent communicator, and has a strong attention to detail. The HR Coordinator position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources team and will be a key liaison between employees and the HR department. 


    • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department and assist in answering routine employee questions in regards to PTO, passwords, benefits and payroll.
    • Assist the Human Resources Manager with the development and implementation of training programs.
    • Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving the company. Provide written interview notes to management as applicable.
    • Process and monitor all status and employee file changes; new hires, separations, discipline, title, wage, location and supervisor changes—ensuring all proper documentation is being provided.
    • Assist employees with routine health, dental, life and other related benefit questions. Help coordinate annual open enrollments.
    • Maintain benefit enrollment system (Employee Navigator). Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction.
    • Backup the HR Administrator with all payroll duties.
    • Track leave of absences, FMLA and ADA to ensure compliance.
    • Administer and be the point of contact for Corbins’ professional staff learning portal.
    • Track and ensure completion of annual reviews for all employees.
    • Work with Marketing and the Human Resources team to assist with the planning and communication of companywide events and wellness initiatives through the year.
    • Periodically visit job sites to meet with employees to answer HR related questions and promote HR initiatives.
    • Work with the Human Resources Manager to participate in salary and benefit surveys through the year—assist with analyzing data.
    • Monitor for compliance to Federal, State and local laws and company policies.


    1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources; specialized HR certification is a plus.
    2. Experience: 2 or more years of Human Resources experience, ideally in a benefit administration role; Construction Industry experience preferred but not required
    3. Mental: Ability to multi-task, collaborate with others, set priorities and take initiative. Excellent relationship building skills and ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities. Strong analytical and negotiating skills. Excellent organizational, verbal, written, presentation skills are a must. Bilingual a plus but not required.
    4. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Clear understanding of compliance and regulatory aspects of insurance plans administration.  Ability to analyze problems, apply standard policies, practices, and procedures.
