Administrative Assistant (Prefabrication)

Corbins Electric is excited to be adding an Administrative Assistant position to the Corbins team. We are currently hiring for our Pre Fabrication and Virtual Construction departments at main office in Phoenix. Our new team member will be responsible for assisting the PreFab and Virtual Construction Project Manager with administrative duties within the two departments.


The pay for this job will be $12- $14 per hour.


Essential Job Functions/Tasks:

  • Work with PreFab and Virtual Construction Project Management on scheduling coordination.
  • Update and maintain the PreFab Job Tracker with time line dates
  • Update and maintain the Sheet Set Production Tracker
  • Update and maintain the Versatility Matrix with assistance from the PreFab Foreman and Superintendents.
  • Provide information to the Shipping Manager for the coordination of all PreFab deliveries to the field.
  • Update and maintain the Fabrication (welding related) Job Tracker
  • Update and maintain the Catavolt PreFab order status
  • Phone attendant duties as needed.
  • File necessary job information into job files and binders.
  • Prepare job specific forms as needed.
  • Enter time from daily report.
  • Enter time for project work appropriate on timecards.
  • Check time reported to ensure accuracy.
  • Enter new employees into the appropriate systems. 


  • Professional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills


Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week or more if required
  • Ability to walk jobsites in inclement weather conditions
  • Valid driver license and proof of insurability required when job duties require use of motor vehicle
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 20 lbs unassisted
  • May require repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers
  • May require prolonged periods of sitting throughout workday
  • Requires exercising of discretion in decision making process and maintaining of strict confidentiality with respect to applicant, employee, and company proprietary information
