Overview

Corbins Electric is currently seeking a dynamic account/sales person with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.  The ideal candidate will target new business opportunities and establish business relationships.

Responsibilities

 

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT 

  • Create new relationships with potential buyers of electrical construction service
  • Establish and maintain effective contact with existing accounts and maximize cross selling opportunities
  • Determine client needs and evaluate company resources and capabilities to meet those needs
  • Prepare, execute and track action plans for specific target markets
  • Attend industry related events targeting the events with the highest possible impact to the Corbin’s growth
  • Daily dedication to making outbound calls to solicit new leads and generate sales opportunities
  • Document and maintain all touch-point activities
  • Identify new work leads and manage follow-up, recordkeeping and information distribution

 

TEAM DEVELOPMENT

  • Strategize and communicate with team members regarding new industry opportunities
  • Assist in the development marketing and advertising material
  • Assist in creating and delivering effective team presentations

 

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with on-site customer representatives
  • Conduct post-sale, follow-ups with customers to ensure sales agreements have been accomplished and customer satisfaction
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain positive working relationships with industry partners and clients 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two or more years experience with sales or business development
  • One year of construcation experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving
  • Proficient with most commonly used business software including Microsoft Office products including Outlook
