Corbins Electric is currently seeking a HelpDesk/Network Technician to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ. The HelpDesk/Network Technician is responsible for handling first and second level support of service requests. This relates to all technology, to include: workstations, servers, printers, networks, cell phones, desk phones and vendor specific hardware and software. The HelpDesk/Network Technician is also responsible for the implementation of internal systems, as well as providing technical assistance to team members with system and network requests.


  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
  • Will work primarily out of our Chandler office but needs to be able to work at our Phoenix office as needed.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems.
  • Support of disaster recovery solutions.
  • LAN/PC administration (LAN, Active Directory, GPO, MS Exchange).
  • System documentation of maintenance and upgrades.
  • Communication with users as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or planned network outages.
  • IT support relating to issues with the internal systems and network infrastructure
  • Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, etc.
  • Support services for virtualization technologies: Citrix, and Microsoft.
  • Remote access solution support for job sites and branch offices: VPN and Terminal Services.
  • Implementation and maintenance of a remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review.
  • Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure.
  • Visit job sites and branch offices to coordinate services as needed.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Business awareness: specific knowledge of the users and how IT relates to their department strategy and goals.


Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (equivalent experience may be substituted)
  • Windows desktop OS support, preferably Windows 10
  • Microsoft Office 2013 or 2016
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
  • Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately
  • Service awareness of all organization’s key IT services for which support is being provided
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment
  • Proficiency in English




  • Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE
  • Citrix XenServer or Microsoft Hyper-V or equivalent experience
  • Autodesk Revit experience

  • Airwatch experience
