Overview

The primary function of this position is to provide support to BlueBeam users within the organization by way of creating & communicating tips and shortcuts for users, regular maintenance, trainings, and continuous process improvement within Corbins Electric’s BlueBeam program. Candidate must be able to pass a background check in order to be admitted onto secure worksites.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as special point of contact for Corbins Electric’s employees on BlueBeam by answering emails and phone calls (ie. troubleshooting and other issues)
  • Establish and maintain relationship with BlueBeam support of our Enterprise account to ensure Corbins Electric has the latest software, features and tools, as well as escalate technical issues
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Estimating, Project Engineers, Superintendents and Foremen on their specific BlueBeam needs and proactively drive efficiencies in their areas of discipline
  • Know what tips, tricks and best practices would be useful for various workgroups and create clear instructions for users using various media (.pdf, video, etc.)
  • Document and catalog tips & tricks
  • Collaborating with various user groups to create best workflow for process within BlueBeam
  • Create training documentation and conduct training of small and large groups on BlueBeam setup, processes and features
  • Advocate for the use of BlueBeam throughout the company

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Customer service skills!! The Business Solutions Department at Corbins Electric has exceptional standards for customer service. It is our expectation that the person in this role will like to work with others and will help them solve problems with a positive attitude and helpful spirit.

  • Experience 1+ year BlueBeam and 3+ years in Construction, reading plans and specifications
  • Demonstrate a mindset of continuous process improvement, driving efficiency and LEAN thinking
  • Demonstrate ability to create documentation and train others on a subject of a technical nature
  • Demonstrate proficiency in creating Projects with Sessions and the ability to create RFIs and Submittals in BlueBeam
  • Mental: Ability to multi-task, collaborate with others, set priorities and take initiative. Excellent relationship building skills and ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities. Strong analytical and negotiating skills. Excellent organizational, verbal, written, presentation skills are a must. Bilingual a plus.
