Corbins Electric is currently looking to add a Safety Director to our team. This individual will plan, implement, and coordinate all safety programs as well as administer programs that educate employees. These programs will ensure compliance with all regulations issued by OSHA and other governmental agencies, as well as, all company policy/procedures. The Safety Director will be responsible for monitoring and mentoring on the job employee safety. This role interacts regularly with Foremen, Field Superintendents, Project Managers, and customers to assist in any challenges related to site safety. Travel to jobsites is required. The Safety Director will report directly to the VP of Operations.
The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of environmental, safety, DOT, and OSHA regulations and compliance. Strong leadership and team- building skills is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Proficient skills with a computer and MS Office Suite a requirement.
