We are looking for a Jr Programmer/Developer who is motivated to combine the need for driving efficiency with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include learning the Catavolt platform that is used by Corbins Electric in order produce mobile applications. You will work with a small team of in-house developers, Catavolt developers, the end users and project management, taking an active role in helping define how the application looks as well as how it operates.


Essential Job Functions/Tasks:

  • Develop new user-facing features in Catavolt software (more info can be provided upon request)

  • Build and maintain tables and stored procedures in SQL database

  • Optimize application for maximum speed, scalability and usability

  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end

  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

  • 2-4 years experience with SQL and HTML5



  • Professional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills


Additional Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred, but not required) in Computer Science or Construction Management.
  • Experience: 2-4 years experience with SQL, HTML5, Graph Markup Language, API Gateways and RESTful API’s. Construction Industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Mental: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate with others, set priorities and take initiative. Excellent relationship building skills and ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities with positive attitude. Strong analytical skills with high detail. Excellent organizational, verbal, written, presentation skills are a must.
